Sound
ABSpanel has been tested for sound transmission using AS / NZS 1276:1:1999 and ISO 140-4 and achieved:
Durability
ABS PANEL has excellent durability characteristics. ABS PANEL withstands knocks, scrapes and rough treatment. ABS PANEL is immune to permanent water damage, will not burn or rotor corrode, is resistant to steam and pollution and is totally unaffected by UV radiation.
Installation
A variety of installation options are available incorporating channel, angle or totally concealed framing systems. ABSpanel panels slips together using a tongue and groove jointing system and may be flush set or butt jointed according to project requirements.
Finishes
ABS PANEL will accept almost any finish, from water-based and enamel paints, though to polymers, and cement render coatings. ABS PANEL can be painted with a standard 3 coat system which results in a smooth internal look or ABS PANEL can have a hi-build polymer texture applied for an extra rough Tuscan feel. ABS PANEL readily accepts external stone and other architectural finishes.
Versatile Masonry Alternate
While providing a masonry feel, ABS PANEL offers the additional benefits of being light weight and thinner than brickwork. ABS PANEL’s light weight construction reduces the dead load on the total structure and thereby results in increased usable floor space. ABS PANEL can be delivered anywhere in Australia with appropriate notice. With BOQ provided, your quote can be made available within 24 hours.
